Adopt A Soldier Donations Due By March 28th!

Glenn Hays of ATCOM is a member of the Cabarrus Rotary.  Together we are partnering with Military Missions in Action out of Fuquay-Varina  to support the 200 members of the NC Air National Guard 145th airlift wing based out of Charlotte.  The 145th were deployed to Kuwait and we are doing another round of Adopt a Soldier donations to support them.

Here’s what we need:

Gum, hard candies, mints, jerky, water flavoring packs, snacks, trail mix, tuna and chicken salad packs, canned meats, nuts, breakfast bars, protein bars, energy drinks, hand sanitizers, baby wipes, toothpaste, tooth brushes, mouth wash, deodorant, shampoo, insect repellent, chopstick, eye drops, sun block, aloe gel, q-tips, tweezers, razors, combs, brushes, vitamins, cough drops, baby powder, foot spray, black or white calf length socks, long sleeved black or brown thermal shirts, playing cards, pens or pencils and paper, and most importantly cards and letters from adults and children thanking them for their service. Please skip large packages unless they contain individual sized packages. They will use these in backpacks when deploying away from base.

Donations can be dropped off at any ATCOM Office Click here for Locations!  We we will also come pick up donations if your business would like to start a collection. No donation is too small or large and everything helps.  Military Missions in Action ships everything we donate at no charge and if items aren’t used they are distributed back stateside to former vets who are struggling and in some cases are homeless. Nothing donated will go to waste and we will be collecting donations until March the 28th.

If you need further information or to schedule a pick up contact Glenn Hays at 980-234-1899.

Thank you so much for supporting our Troops!
