Managed Information Technology Services Network

Challenges and
Requirements

  •  Lack of proactive service and support (licensing lapsed, outdated firewalls, routers and other hardware)
  • Pappas stated they previously had a partner that did not have their best interest in mind and had personality conflicts with Pappas employees
  • Slow service response times from past providers
  • Slow network due to non-business class wireless access points and no ability for their customers to access wifi
  • Old 10/100 switches could not handle their number of users and had no traffic shaping
  • Company productivity was down due to ineffective hardware choices
  • File servers in siloes without replication between offices and poorly implemented folder redirection
  • Outdated Windows 2008 Standard Edition installed on servers

Engineer’s Thoughts

“I feel like I am a valued member of the Pappas Properties/Terwilliger Pappas team.  I walk in the Charlotte office on Tuesday mornings and everyone knows my name and makes me feel welcome. I feel as much a part of their team as I do ATCOM’s and when I can make their technology experience better in any way, I make it happen.  Their network has come a LONG way from where it was when we started managing it, I am extremely proud of the work we’ve done.”
– Will Patterson, ATCOM[/alert]

Client’s Thoughts

“We have been very pleased with ATCOM’s pro-active approach to IT management. ATCOM provides us with the resources we need to stay competitive.”
