About John
A US Navy vet, John served during the First Gulf War from ’87 to ’93. Serving as a Nuclear Engineer aboard the USS Flying Fish SSN673, John has been chased by a Russian submarine, attacked by Greenpeace, and stuck in a category 4 hurricane. Following his naval career, John continued his seafaring lifestyle, in spirit, by attending East Carolina University (go Pirates!). John was recruited by ATCOM and has helped us transition into a full IT company. With an expert knowledge of all things Cisco, John helps ATCOM keep pace with the rapid growth of modern technology. Outside of the office, John’s passion is snowboarding. Jackson Hole is his current favorite resort, and he dreams to one day make deep powder turns in Chamonix, France. But even when snow isn’t on the ground, John loves to travel!
