Chris Strandberg

In Memory of Chris – A Part of ATCOM, always.

Chris has been part of ATCOM for as long as most of us can remember—and in many ways, he always will be. To this team, he was a big brother, a steady hand, a mentor, and yes, at times, the “crazy uncle” who kept things real. More than anything, Chris was family.
His greatest pride was his family—his wife, Sara, and their son, Colton—but he extended that same care and commitment to everyone around him. Whether it was through his church, the food pantry, supporting the Zero Prostate Cancer Walk as a survivor, or simply showing up for a teammate, Chris lived a life of service.
At ATCOM, Chris spent over 40 years helping shape who we are today. Early on, he was the “whiz kid” installing voicemail and networking systems. Over time, he grew into a leader, becoming our Operations Leader and a constant advocate for both our customers and our team.
Technology changed over the years, but Chris never did. He believed in doing things the right way—through consistency, communication, and a willingness to help. That standard still guides us today.
Chris’s impact is lasting. His presence is missed. His legacy is part of everything we do.
